This page is a getting started guide which will walk you through downloading, installing and completing basic starting tasks in Runtime Payroll.
Let’s get started!
On first run of Runtime Payroll, you will see following Signup screen:
Enter your business name, contact name, mobile, e-mail (optional) and click on ‘Signup’ button.
Submitting this information will create your Runtime Software account which is required to attach a digital license to your software. Please note that you should be connected to internet in order to complete the signup process.
If you already have a Runtime Account, you can login by clicking on ‘Login Now’ button.
In case you see a message saying that ‘This mobile is already registered’ or ‘This e-mail is already registered’, you may have already created an account with us. In such case also, you can click on ‘Login Now’ to login with your existing account.
Login with OTP
Enter your mobile number to receive an OTP. Wait for at least 1 minute for OTP to arrive. Once you have received an OTP, enter the same on this screen and click on ‘Login’
Note: The OTP service is available between 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST only.
Create a Company
After you have successfully signed up or logged in, you will see the following screen to create a company:
Fill out your company information like name, address and city. Select your state from the dropdown list. Starting Period refers to the period from which you would like to start your payroll processing. You can always add more periods later. Click ‘Create Company’.
Once the company is created, you will see following login screen:
Note: Default username and password for new companies is ‘admin’ and ‘admin’. You are advised to change your password after first login.
Congratulations! You have successfully setup your software and ready to start.
